Belief 22 of 28 · Doctrines of the Christian Life
Christian Behavior
We are called to be a godly people whose thoughts, feelings, and actions are in harmony with biblical principles. The Holy Spirit recreates in us our Lord's character. Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, so we care for them — eating wholesome food, abstaining from unclean foods named in Scripture, and avoiding alcohol, tobacco, and the irresponsible use of drugs and narcotics.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.
